Both the Texas Legislature and the Supreme Court have promulgated mandates regarding judicial education in the guardianship area, specifically regarding less restrictive alternatives to guardianship and the supports and services available to proposed wards.

Judge Steve M. King, a senior statutory probate judge from Fort Worth, will provide a webinar to satisfy the requirements of the Supreme Court’s Education Rules.  He will discuss not only the twin concepts of less restrictive alternatives and supports and services, but also will explain over four dozen potential alternatives to guardianship.
